A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background areas: fill the sky through the window and the picture frame with sky blue, and the bushes outside with grass green. Leave the window frames and the wall trim white.
- 2Color the woman's sweater coral pink, then her jeans and kneeling legs denim blue. Fill her face, hands and ankle with peach skin, and her hair with chocolate brown.
- 3Color the boy's shirt and sleeves bright blue, and his jeans denim blue. Add his shoes and socks in tomato red and light blue, leaving the soles cream.
- 4Fill the curtains and their ties golden yellow, the sofa and plant leaves grass green, and the sofa cushion golden yellow. Use caramel brown for the wood cabinet, floor edges and sofa legs.
- 5Color the card's sun and flower center lemon yellow, and add the rest of the wall and floor in cream and soft orange for the rug.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading on the sofa, the sweater folds and the boy's jeans for depth, and keep the cloud and card outline light.
