Bearded Pirate Reading Poems by Treasure Chest of Books
Coloring guide
A jolly pirate with a long bushy beard stands next to an open treasure chest, holding a book labeled POEMS in one hand. He wears a big tricorn hat, an eye patch, a hoop earring, a long coat with large pockets, and a wide belt with a square buckle. One hand is a hook, and he has a wooden peg leg and one chunky boot. A tiny mouse peeks out of his coat pocket. The chest is packed with books, and an open book rests on top. A palm tree stands in the background on a small stretch of land. This page works well for a reading-time activity. Kids can color the book covers in different colors, then pick a favorite poem to read aloud while they work. The printable lines are bold and the shapes are big, so it suits younger colorers too.
