Bearded Singer in a Star Gown, The Greatest Showman Stage Scene
Coloring guide
Right in the middle of the stage, a performer sings with one hand over their chest and the other arm held out wide, eyes turned upward. Their wavy hair is pinned up with a braid and a star clip, and the full wavy beard finishes in a long braid tied at the end. The long gown has wide, flowing kimono-style sleeves and a fitted waistband, and it's covered with sparkles, small circles and four-point stars. Tall curtains tied back with tassels frame the scene, stars hang from strings and float behind, and the floor is drawn as wooden boards. Deep purple or midnight blue suits the gown, with yellow and silver stars to make it shimmer against pale curtains. Grab this free printable PDF whatever your age. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- royal blue
- lavender purple
- pale baby blue
- warm caramel brown
- peach skin tone
- golden yellow
- light sky blue
- cornflower blue
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Leave the background and the empty white spaces around the singer untouched, including the tiny sparkles and the bright spots on the gown.
- 2Fill the two big curtains and their tiebacks with lavender purple, keeping the tiebacks for later in golden yellow.
- 3Color the wooden stage floor with warm caramel brown, working in the plank lines and around the gown hem.
- 4Paint the big gown skirt with royal blue, then add pale baby blue to the flowing sleeves and the bodice.
- 5Use golden yellow for the wavy hair, beard, belt, the three hanging stars, and the small stars on the sides, then add peach skin tone to the face, neck, and hands.
- 6Optional: Add a cornflower blue flower in the hair and a few darker blue strokes near the gown folds for depth.
