A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the cat's face and paws in orange, and leave the eye whites, highlights and the background walls white.
- 2Fill the bed, headboard, nightstand and teddy bear in brown and tan, and color the pillows and the lamp cord in cream and white.
- 3Color the pajamas and the nightcap in medium blue, light blue and pale blue, then add the navy blue collar and cuffs.
- 4Paint the lamp shade, moon and curtains with yellow and golden yellow, and color the window sky in dark blue with white stars.
- 5Add the red bow tie on the teddy bear, pink inner ears and salmon pink tongue, then add bright yellow stars on the pajamas and nightcap.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in the same colors along the folds of the blanket and pillows to make them look softer.
