Before the King and Queen: Nella the Princess Knight
Coloring guide
In the middle of a grand throne room, a young girl knight stands tall. She has a long flowing cape, a tunic with a lion crest on the chest, a belt, tall boots with pointed trim, and a sword at her side. Her long hair has a small braid, and she looks off to one side with a gentle smile. A bearded king and a queen sit on tall carved thrones behind her, both in crowns and fur-trimmed robes, clapping. Banners with a fleur-de-lis, a crown and a star hang on the walls, along with arched stained-glass windows, flower vases and a patterned floor runner. This one has lots of detail, so it's nice for a longer sit-down. Royal blue suits the cape, gold the crowns and lion crest, and rosy pinks and reds the bouquets. Print it free for an easy afternoon activity. Kids who like Nella the Princess Knight coloring pages usually enjoy Princesses and Moana too.

- 2Fill the stained glass windows in the background with sky blue, and color the mountain-like sky patches the same way.
- 3Use crimson red for the center carpet and the king's robe, and deep purple for the queen's dress.
- 4Color the tunic, the floor tiles and the steps in cream white, keeping the tile borders white, then fill the walls, pillars and faces with pale peach.
- 5Add golden yellow to the crowns and the small diamond details, light brown to the hair and dark brown to the boots.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of royal blue or deep purple along the folds of the cape and dress for depth.
