This masked alien hero comes charging right at you. A long, curved, blade-like crest sweeps up from its head, and its face has big patterned eyes and a gritted, determined mouth. The Omnitrix-style symbol sits in the center of the chest, with a pointed arrow marking on the torso underneath. At the top right, one huge fist swings toward the viewer, while the other fist, wrapped in a banded wrist guard, pulls back at the lower left. Wide shoulder plates and slim legs trailing behind give it a real feeling of speed. With no background, kids can stay focused on the character. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red areas: the large top fist, the main body, the lower-left fist and the shell on the left side, filling them with bright red.
- 2Color the lower body, legs and the long lower-right leg shapes in royal blue, then add ocean blue to the chest panel and the left arm.
- 3Paint the golden yellow accents next: the tall blade horn, the upper arm band, the wide wrist bands and the thin edges on the wings and arms.
- 4Add the warm amber spike under the hip, the tangerine orange hook on the right, and charcoal gray to the dark wrist bands, the waist plate and the small belt piece.
- 5Use light blue for the eye rings and the cheek patches, and leave the eye whites, the teeth and the center of the chest emblem white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of royal blue or charcoal gray along the edges of the body to give it a little depth.
