Sparkling Starbursts Around Big 2022 and Happy New Year

Large outlined block numbers spell out 2022 across the middle of the page, with the words HAPPY NEW YEAR in bold outlined capital letters just underneath. Around the text are several starburst sparkles in different sizes, some with long pointed rays and a speckled, splattered center, plus a few tiny dotted bursts. Two are at the top right, one sits at the upper left, one at the lower left, and another is on the right edge. The digits are wide and open, so they are easy for little hands to fill in. Try a different pattern in each number, like stripes in the first 2, polka dots in the 0, and zigzags in the last two. The tiny sparkles are good for gold or silver crayons and glitter pens. The page is free to print, and it would make a nice countdown party activity or a classroom card for the first week back in January.
