Big Chill From Ben 10 Flying Over Treetops
Coloring guide
Kids who love Ben 10 aliens will like this dramatic flying scene. Big Chill, the moth-like alien, hangs in mid-air with two large wings stretched high above his head. Each wing is split into patterned panels that are fun to fill in. He has an open, toothy mouth, little curled antennae and the Omnitrix symbol on his forehead. One clawed hand stays close to his chest, and the other reaches down toward the leafy treetops below. Fluffy, outlined foliage fills the middle of the page, and bare branches rise in the lower left and right corners. Icy blues and purples suit the wings and body, and fresh greens for the trees will help him stand out. Download this free PDF and keep a few extra copies on hand. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big wings: color the large wing panels in golden yellow on the outer tips and in sky blue on the middle sections, leaving the small oval spots and the white holes in the wings as they are.
- 2Fill the body, legs and head in coral red, including the long front and back legs and the lower body, keeping the mouth teeth white.
- 3Color the claws, the center block and the cannon on the head in dark gray, and add the golden yellow tips on the blades and the hand claw.
- 4Add the small teal patch on the left wing and the pale teal patch on the right wing to bring in some cooler tones.
- 5Color the tree branches at the bottom and right in warm brown, then add leaf green to the leafy clumps.
- 6Optional: Leave the background clouds and bushes white, and add a little extra shading on the wing edges and under the body for depth.
