Big Eyed Kitten with Fluffy Bangs and Tail

A cartoon kitten sits with its body turned slightly sideways and its head facing forward. It has two very large round eyes with shiny white highlights, thick lashes at the outer corners, and a tiny triangle nose above a little wavy mouth. A swoop of fur falls across the forehead like bangs, and two pointed ears stand up on either side. Fluffy tufts of fur show on the cheeks and chest. One front paw is raised while the back paws and a curled, bushy tail with zigzag fur marks fill the lower part of the page. The large eye areas are mostly dark, so they work well as built-in focal points. Try picking two bright eye colors and leaving the white highlights uncolored for a sparkly look. Colored pencils will handle the small fur tufts and the paw details nicely.
