Forest Owl With Mushrooms and Fireflies

With round glossy eyes and tufted ear feathers, this wide-eyed owl perches on a leafy branch, claws gripping the wood. The chest and wings are drawn with scalloped feathers, so it's fun to color one section at a time. Tall tree trunks and leaves fill the background, and a winding path leads off into the woods, with ferns and small flowers growing along the trail. Spotted mushrooms of different sizes sit in the bottom corners up front, and a few small glowing fireflies hover around the trees and bushes. There's a good mix of large areas and fine detail in this free printable, so it suits kids who like to take their time. Warm browns and tans fit the owl's feathers, and bright yellow fireflies will stand out against the green leaves. Love this Owl coloring page? You might also enjoy our Puppies and Cats coloring pages.
