Jumbo Red Crayon with Bubble Letter Label

A single crayon is drawn on a diagonal, with the tip pointing toward the bottom right. The paper wrapper has a wide oval label in the middle, and inside the oval is the word "red" in bubble-style outline letters that you can color in. A curved band runs across the flat end at the top, and the cone-shaped tip at the bottom ends in a small rounded point. The lines are clean and thick, so the shapes are easy for little hands to fill in. This free printable is a good fit for early readers learning color words. Ask kids to color the crayon red, then fill in the letters r, e and d with a different color so the word stands out. It also works well as a quick back to school warm-up activity.
