A rugged rescue truck in vehicle mode fills the whole page, drawn from a front three-quarter angle so you can see the grille, bumper and chunky wheels together. The Transformers Rescue Bots logo is in the top left corner. Look for the ribbed grille between two tall bars, the round lights on the bumper, the curved pipes along the side, and two seat-like shapes sticking up at the back. The thick tires have bold treads, and there are plenty of panels and windows to color in. No background, so kids can draw a road or leave it plain. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the big body of the truck, including the hood, cab sides and roof, in bright red, using gentle back-and-forth strokes.
- 2Fill the windshield panes and the upper part of the cab with sky blue, leaving the thin white frames and the headlight circles white.
- 3Color the bumpers, fenders, grille bars and lower body panels in light gray, then add steel gray to the wheel arches and side panels for depth.
- 4Use dark red on the shaded edges under the hood, the side trim and the lower body, and charcoal black on the tire treads and wheel hubs.
- 5Add golden yellow to the small round lamps on the front bumper and the roof lights, then finish with the white logo and text areas left untouched.
- 6Optional: Add a little slate gray along the bottom edges of the bumpers and tires to make the truck look more rugged.
