Birthday Cake With Five Candles and Dripping Icing

A round two-layer cake sits on a plate, with thick icing across the top that drips down the sides in wavy, uneven loops. A band of filling or frosting runs between the two layers and drips a little too. Five candles stand on top, one at the back center, two on either side, and each has a teardrop flame with a small wick line inside. The outlines are clean and bold, so the large areas are easy for small hands to fill in. Try coloring each candle a different color, then count them out loud and match the flames to the candles. The wide icing space is also a good spot for sprinkles, stripes, or dots in crayon or marker. It's a nice page to print for a party table or a quiet birthday activity.
