Birthday Cake With Ten Candles and a Flower

A two-tier birthday cake sits on a round plate, with ten candles lined up along the top. Each candle has a teardrop flame, and the one in the middle is taller than the rest. A fence-like rail runs across the candles, and a big puffy cloud shape outlines the space behind them. Swoopy swags of frosting hang across the upper tier, and wavy drips of icing ripple along the lower tier. A daisy-style flower with two dark leaves rests at the bottom right of the cake. Try coloring each candle a different color and then counting them out loud with a younger child. This printable page also works well for a birthday party table, since the large open shapes are easy for small hands to fill in.
