Birthday Party Fun with Puppy Dog Pals, Cake and Balloons
Coloring guide
One smiling puppy in a striped party hat sits behind a tiered birthday cake with four lit candles. A second puppy stands next to it, holding the strings of three balloons. The cake has a row of round beads along the top edge, a wavy frosting line and a band of circles around the side, and it sits on a plate. At the right there's a wrapped gift box with a big bow, and curly paper streamers dangle from the top of the page. Both pups have floppy ears, open happy mouths and big sparkly eyes. Thick, clean outlines and roomy shapes make it an easy pick for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Rainbow stripes on the party hat and streamers would be fun, and each balloon can get its own color. It's a free printable for a classroom project or weekend craft. - 2Color the right puppy's head, body and paws in ivory, then add caramel orange to its ears and tail.
- 3Fill the cake's top and middle tiers with ivory and blush, color the plate baby blue and the base chocolate brown, then add coral pink dots with a sky blue and a leaf green dot in the middle tier.
- 4Paint the gift box in sky blue, then add golden yellow ribbons and the bow on top.
- 5Color the party hat with sky blue and golden yellow stripes, add a golden yellow pompom, then color the balloons leaf green, sky blue and orchid purple, leaving the top balloon white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading on the puppies and gift box with a slightly darker tone of the same color, and finish the streamers in bright red, golden yellow and sky blue.
