Birthday Party Puppy Dog Pals With Cake and Balloons
Coloring guide
Sitting behind a layered birthday cake, a smiling puppy in a striped party hat with a pom-pom rests its paws on the table, tongue sticking out. The cake has five lit candles, scalloped icing and a row of little dots around the bottom tier. The puppy's collar has a bone-shaped tag. Four balloons float behind it, and four gift boxes surround the scene. Two bigger ones with ribbon bows sit at the sides, and two smaller ones sit in the front corners, one covered in polka dots. Large shapes and clear outlines work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it's a handy free printable for a birthday party table. Try a bright purple party hat with yellow stripes, and give each balloon its own color so the page feels like a real celebration. This fits right in with our Puppy Dog Pals coloring pages — see also Anime Style and PAW Patrol.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the puppy's head, ears and body with honey orange, leaving the eye whites and the nose highlight white.
- 2Fill the left and top balloons with sky blue and the right balloon with leaf green, keeping the shine spots white.
- 3Color the party hat with sky blue and lemon yellow stripes, and make the pom-pom on top red.
- 4Fill the cake with pink frosting on top, cream layers and a pale blue plate, then color the candles with light blue, mint gray and lavender.
- 5Add the sky blue collar and lemon yellow dog tag, the pink tongue, and the gift boxes in sky blue, leaf green and red with yellow and violet ribbons.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the puppy and along the edges of the gift boxes to make them look more solid.
