Black Widow Springing Through the Air With a Pistol
Coloring guide
In this action-packed line drawing, a woman in a fitted zip-up catsuit leaps through the air. One hand points a pistol straight ahead and the other reaches down with the fingers spread. One leg kicks up high so the sole of her boot faces us, her wavy hair streams back and her mouth is open in a shout. Black Widow fans will spot the round-studded belt with the hourglass buckle, the banded wrist cuffs and the striped boot tops. Because there's no background, young colorers can focus entirely on the figure. Black or deep charcoal suits the suit, bright red is good for the hourglass buckle, and gold or grey can go on the belt circles. It's a free printable PDF, handy for a screen-free afternoon at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big suit areas: color both legs, the torso and both arms with royal blue, leaving the small white highlights on the folds.
- 2Fill the face and neck with peach skin, and the exposed chest area too; keep the eye whites and teeth white.
- 3Color the raised boot top and cuffs, the hand on the ground and the glove on the gun hand with bright red, then fill the boot soles and the pistol body with charcoal gray.
- 4Fill the hair with honey yellow, using tan and mustard on the darker strands near the back and sides.
- 5Add the belt with dark olive brown, the belt studs in mustard, golden yellow and taupe, the buckle in bright red, and the navel in dark olive brown.
- 6Optional: add a little darker royal blue to the suit folds and dark brown along the zipper for depth.
