Boots the Monkey Dancing: Dora the Explorer Page

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• baby pink
• light periwinkle
• bright red
• golden yellow
• deep maroon
• hot pink

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big pink areas: color the face, nose, inside of both ears, and both hands with baby pink, leaving the eye whites white.
2. 2Fill the round belly and the tip of the tail with golden yellow.
3. 3Color the arms, legs, long tail, head tufts, ears, and the top of the head with light periwinkle, keeping the shapes smooth.
4. 4Color both boots bright red, leaving a small white highlight line along the soles if you like.
5. 5Fill the open mouth with deep maroon and the tongue with hot pink, then add a little white shine in the eyes.
6. 6Optional: Add a few darker strokes of light periwinkle along the edges of the arms and tail for a bit of depth.
