Border Collie Mid-Step With One Paw Lifted

Border Collie Mid-Step With One Paw Lifted coloring page

Coloring guide

A shaggy dog walks to the left in this line drawing, with its mouth open and its tongue showing. One front paw is lifted mid-step while the other three legs stay on the ground. The ears are pointed, the eyes look alert, and the fur is drawn with rough, jagged strokes along the neck, chest, back and legs. A full bushy tail hangs down behind the body, and a few short ground marks sit beneath the paws. The fur gives kids plenty of small sections to work on. Try black, white and brown pencils, and follow the direction of the fur lines so the coat looks fluffy. Younger children can color the big body shape with one flat shade, while older kids can build up layers of tone. This printable page also works for a lesson on dog breeds or pets.
