Bow-Tied Chick Among Easter Daisies

A round-headed baby chick stands facing forward with a small tuft of feathers on top, two oval eyes, and a triangle beak. A big bow sits at its neck, and the chest below it has a criss-cross pattern of curved lines, like a ribbon or a decorated egg shape. Both wings fold across the front of its body, with scalloped feather edges along the bottom. Its big webbed feet are spread wide at the base, and a few little feathers stick out above the legs. Six daisies with rounded petals float around the chick, each with a circle in the center. The thick outlines are easy for small hands to color inside. Try yellow for the chick, then pick a bright color for the bow and use a different shade in each section of the chest pattern.
