Boy and Baby Dragon on a Mossy Rock in Anime Style
Coloring guide
A smiling boy with tousled hair reaches out to pat the nose of a round-bellied baby dragon, and the dragon shuts its eyes with a big, content grin. The boy has on a hooded jacket, cargo shorts, chunky sneakers and a backpack with a small side pocket. The dragon sits on a mossy boulder, with two curved horns, spotted cheeks, bat-like wings, a striped belly and a spiky tail curling around its side. Tall grass, little daisy-style flowers and rounded bushes fill the background. Big shapes mix with small details like the dragon's spots and the moss texture, so it suits kids comfortable with crayons or colored pencils. Soft teal or purple wings and warm orange horns will make the friendly pair pop against a green meadow. Save it as a free PDF for classroom time or a rainy day. - 1Start with the big green dragon: fill its body, head, and neck with grass green, and fill the mossy rock and grass tufts with lime green.
- 2Color the dragon's belly stripes and its back ridge with pale yellow, leaving the rest of the body green.
- 3Fill the boy's hoodie and sleeves with cherry red, his shorts with royal blue, and his skin with light peach, leaving the shirt under the hoodie white.
- 4Color the dragon's wings orange, the horns and claws cream, and the backpack and sneakers royal blue or navy blue, keeping the shoe soles and socks white.
- 5Add the boy's brown hair with chestnut brown and the background bushes in forest green, then finish with small details like the dragon's pink nose spots and the gray shadow under the rock. Optional: add a little darker shading on the dragon's belly edges.
