A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the big fox body, tail, and head in orange, leaving small highlights white along the fur.
2. 2Color the boy's hair chestnut brown and his face and legs pale tan, keeping the eye whites and the smile white.
3. 3Fill the cape and mushroom caps in cherry red, and the shirt in royal blue with navy blue shorts.
4. 4Color the trees and bushes in dark green and grass green, then add bright green and lime green grass at the bottom and sides.
5. 5Add the sun in bright yellow, the pendant in golden yellow, and the fox inner ears in blush pink.
6. 6Optional: Shade the fox fur with a slightly darker orange and add a few light strokes to the grass for depth.
