Ramen Night, Anime Style Kids Under Paper Lanterns
Coloring guide
Two smiling kids sit side by side at a counter, each lifting chopsticks with a bundle of steaming noodles over a big ramen bowl. The boy has spiky, tousled hair and a hooded sweatshirt with a drawstring. The girl wears a side ponytail tied with a bow, and overalls over a long-sleeve top. Every bowl has a decorative pattern around the rim and is topped with a halved egg, slices of meat, a piece of seaweed and little rings of green onion. Three round paper lanterns hang across the top, with curtain-style awning panels and a few leafy shapes behind. On the counter you'll spot a cup of extra chopsticks and a small jar. Golden yellow noodles and soft red or orange lanterns make the glow stand out. It's a free printable for a quiet, creative break. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the blue curtains at the top, the boy's hoodie, and the girl's overall straps and bib with sky blue, leaving the ramen bowls and background white.
- 2Fill all the paper lanterns with tomato red, including their bases and hanging cords, staying inside the lines.
- 3Use caramel brown for the wooden beams, pillars, and counter panels, and dark brown for the boy's hair and the top beam.
- 4Paint both faces, necks, and hands with peach skin, then color the girl's sweater, sleeves, and hair bow with baby pink.
- 5Add grass green to the bushes on both sides and forest green to the two seaweed sheets on the bowls. Leave the eye whites and bowls white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown along the hair edges and under the lanterns for depth.
