Stargazing Boy With a Telescope Under the Moon, For Teens
Coloring guide
With a wink, a boy looks through a big telescope on a tripod in this night sky scene, one hand on a tripod leg and the other steadying the eyepiece. He wears a hooded sweatshirt with drawstrings, long pants and sneakers. Around him you'll see a large crescent moon, lots of stars in different sizes, a small tent on the right, puffy bushes on the left and grass tufts dotting the hill, with a few rocks in the foreground corners. It's a calm picture with clean lines and room to add detail, a good fit for older kids and teens. Deep navy and purple for the sky and a pale yellow moon and stars will make them glow. The free PDF prints neatly on a standard sheet, ready for markers, colored pencils or gel pens. This page is part of our For Teens coloring pages collection — check out For Girls and For Kids too.

- 3Color the tent in tangerine orange, adding rust brown for the shaded side and the tent pegs, and paint the bushes and grass in leaf green.
- 4Add the face and hands in peach skin, the hair in chestnut brown, and the shoes in cherry red, leaving the shoe soles and the eye whites white.

- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade under the hood and along one side of the jeans for a bit of depth.
