A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big moon and the chimney cap: color the moon golden yellow, leaving the little craters slightly lighter if you like.
- 2Fill the roof, the flower pots and the roof tiles with coral orange and bright orange, keeping the clay pots a warm mix of both tones.
- 3Color the sky clouds and the top left cloud with light sky blue, and the sea behind the rooftop with light sky blue as well.
- 4Paint the bird and its small details with deep sky blue, and make the leaves and bushes bright green and grass green.
- 5Color the boy's face and hands peach, the cap warm brown, and the chimney bricks burnt orange, leaving the sky background white.
- 6Optional: add a little shading on the roof tiles and pots with a slightly darker orange so they look more three dimensional.
