Underwater FISH Spelled in Bubble Letters

Right in the middle of an underwater scene, puffy letters spell FISH, and each one is dotted with small round bubbles that are fun to fill in. Four smiling striped and spotted fish swim around the word, two near the top and two lower down. Tall wavy seaweed fills the background along with coral, rounded rocks and bubbles floating near the surface. On the sandy bottom you'll spot a scallop shell, spiral snail shells, a starfish and tube-shaped sponges. Big letters plus small details work well for kids who like to start with large areas and move on to finer ones. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big bubble letters F, I, S and H in sky blue, leaving the small bubble circles white.
- 2Fill the rocks and coral in coral pink, and the sand at the bottom in sandy beige.
- 3Color the seaweed in lime green and leaf green, and the clownfish in orange with a burnt orange tail.
- 4Add the two smaller fish in lemon yellow and tangerine, leaving their spots and eye whites white.
- 5Color the starfish in bright red, the shells in lavender purple and golden yellow, and the tube corals in golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the letters and rocks to make the bubbles pop.
