Busy Coral Reef With Shark, Dolphin and Stingray

Coloring guide
A big grinning shark swims straight across the middle of this underwater scene, with a row of pointy teeth and three gill lines on its side. A smiling dolphin dives down above it, and a school of small fish swims in a group on the left. Below the shark, a spotted stingray glides over the sea floor, with two striped tropical fish close by. The bottom of the page is crowded with coral, tall seaweed, tube sponges, a scallop shell, a spiral snail shell and a starfish, while sunbeams and bubbles fill the water near the wavy surface. There's a bit of everything here, from large open areas for little hands to tiny patterns for older kids. Cool blue-gray on the shark and sandy yellow for the stingray's dots is one idea. Download it free and print a few spares. Kids who like Shark coloring pages usually enjoy Owl and Cow too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the open water in ocean blue and sky blue, leaving the light rays and bubbles mostly untouched.
- 2Fill the shark body in steel gray, then add the pale belly in very light blue and the fins in steel gray.
- 3Color the dolphin and the stingray in sky blue and periwinkle, leaving the eye areas and the white smile of the shark uncolored.
- 4Add the yellow fish in golden yellow, the orange fish in bright orange, and the striped fish in steel blue and gray.
- 5Color the reef with leaf green seaweed, lavender purple tube coral, and salmon orange and hot pink corals, then add sand yellow to the seabed.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker blue touches under the shark and stingray to make them look more lively.
