Busy Pusheen Pattern Page: Castle, Cake and Mailboxes
Coloring guide
Pusheen the chubby tabby cat turns up again and again on this all-over pattern, each time in a new pose. One cat peeks out of a big star, another sits on top of a ringed planet, and a few hold round speech bubbles with dots inside. Look closely and you'll also find a cat hugging a mailbox, a cat curled beside a slice of strawberry cake, a little castle with three flag-topped towers and a sleepy cat with Z's floating next to it. Small outlined hearts fill the gaps, and several cats wear a heart on their tummy. So many small shapes make it a nice pick for kids who like detail and for quiet table time. Pale pink hearts and cake, soft grey cats and a bright yellow star would go together well. It's a free printable PDF for your collection. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big cat bodies in light gray, the orange cat in tangerine, and the notebook cat in soft green, leaving the white cat bodies and the cream castle parts untouched.
- 2Fill the stars and the small cat in lemon yellow, and color the castle towers and the cake base in lavender purple and golden yellow.
- 3Color the speech bubble and the top cat's planet in pale blue, and add the blue cube and the bottom cake layers in sky blue and pale blue.
- 4Add the mailbox and dreidel handle in coral red, and fill all the hearts in rose pink, leaving small white highlights on the cat faces.
- 5Optional: Add a little light gray shading along the bottom of the cat bodies and a touch of peach on the cat cheeks for extra softness.
