Three little ponies with long wavy manes and curly tails gather on round, cloud-like platforms beside a big curving rainbow. One sits on the left and looks over her shoulder. Another stands on her hooves up front, with a butterfly resting on her forehead. The third lifts a front hoof and looks back from the upper right. Each has a different symbol on her hip, including hearts, an apple and small flowers. Butterflies flutter all around the rainbow and in between the ponies. The wide rainbow stripes and flowing manes are easy to color in. Soft pinks, purples and teals for the ponies and a classic red-to-violet rainbow would look lovely. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big ground areas: color the bottom grass and the three grass pads in grass green, and leave the empty background white.
- 2Color the rainbow arc from the outside in: coral red on the outer edge, then peach orange, lemon yellow, grass green, and sky blue on the inside, with the thin white edge left as is.
- 3Fill the pink pony's body, mane, tail, and legs with baby pink, then color the purple pony's body, head, and legs in lavender purple.
- 4Color the bottom yellow pony's body, neck, and legs in lemon yellow, then add golden yellow to its tail and mane and amber gold to the mane details.
- 5Leave the eye highlights, cutie mark hearts, and mane shine white so they stand out.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color along the edges of the ponies and rainbow bands for a bit of depth.
