Calico Critters Racing Downhill in Wooden Carts

Five little animal figures ride down a bumpy dirt path in homemade wooden carts, and a sixth seems to be riding along in the back of the top cart. A rabbit with long ears grips a rope steering line in the left cart, while a bear sits close behind. At the bottom, a cat-like critter steers a cart with a pointed rounded nose, with another critter right behind. A mouse with a small flower at its collar drives the cart at the top. Stone walls, grassy tufts, loose pebbles, a leafy bush and big trees line the track, with hills far off in the back. Try a different cart color for each racer, then use soft greens and browns for the hillside so the carts stand out. It is also a fun picture for talking about wheels, ropes and steering.
