Coloring guide
Right in the middle of the page stands a cheerful truck-style robot with big round eyes, a friendly open-mouth smile and a chunky cannon mounted on top of its head. The cab makes up its face and chest, with headlights and a grille detail, and boxy shoulder panels with windows frame the arms. Two clenched fists rest at its sides. Big tires are built into the legs and feet, and the whole robot is planted on a straight road with dashed center lines. A few soft clouds and small grass tufts fill in behind. All the panels, wheels and bolts mean lots of little sections to color, so it's best for ages 5 and up. Red for the body, sunny yellow for the cannon and headlights, and a blue sky behind the clouds would look great. Print it free for a screen-free activity at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red body parts: color the roof, chest, arms, and leg panels with fire red, leaving the white highlight lines untouched.
- 2Fill the front windows and the side door window with sky blue, and color the roof light and roof rim bright blue.
- 3Color the tires, wheel hubs, and tread sections with charcoal gray, then add silver gray to the cannon barrel, mirrors, and bumper.
- 4Add golden yellow to the foot blocks, knee panels, headlights, and the stripe on the left arm, keeping the road center marker white.
- 5Color the grass and bushes with grass green and lime green, and shade the road edges very light gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little crimson red shading to the cannon top and front face panel, and use orange on the left hand for a fun accent.
