Captain America Standing by Palm Trees with Shield

Captain America stands with his feet planted wide on a patch of sandy ground, holding his round shield up beside his head with one raised arm while the other fist rests on his hip. He wears his mask with the winged sides and a star on the forehead, a chest covered in a large star, striped middle section, a belt, and cuffed boots. Behind him a tall palm tree leans across the page, a smaller palm sits on the left near a rock, and rounded bushes and a puffy cloud fill the background. Another rock sits in the lower right corner. The big shapes on his shield and the star make easy starting points for younger kids. Try red, white and blue for the costume, then use greens and browns for the palms so the hero really stands out. This free printable also works well for a lesson on shading, since the bushes have plenty of space for layered greens.
