Ferry Boat Carrying Cars Past a Lighthouse

A big car ferry sails straight toward you, with three cars parked on the open vehicle deck at the back. Higher up you can spot railings, a staircase, portholes, round life rings, two funnels, a bridge with windows and a tall mast topped with a radar dome. Choppy waves and foam curl around the front of the hull, and three seagulls glide overhead with wings spread wide. Far off, a small lighthouse and a little house sit on a rocky, tree-lined shore under puffy clouds. Kids who love both boats and cars will enjoy it, and all the small shapes keep older children busy. Try a bright red hull, three different colors for the cars and layers of blue for the water. Print it for classroom time or a rainy day.
