Rainy Day Car Splashing Under a Cloud Umbrella
Coloring guide
Raindrops fall all around a little car with big round eyes and a wide smile as it splashes through a puddle. Floating above is a happy cloud that doubles as an umbrella, with a curved handle, sparkly eyes and a grinning mouth. The car has two windshield wipers, a side mirror on each side, and chunky wheels kicking up water from the puddle below. Teardrop raindrops are scattered across the page, so there are plenty of small shapes to fill in. Thick, clean outlines work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids using crayons or markers. A yellow or red car will stand out against light blue raindrops and a soft gray cloud. Get the free printable PDF with no sign-up. - 2Color the cloud and the car's windshield and side window in pale blue, keeping the cloud's eyes white.
- 3Fill the car body, hood, side mirrors and wheel arches with royal blue, and the darker parts near the wheels with navy blue.
- 4Color the front bumper and bumper strip in medium gray and dark gray, then fill the tires with charcoal gray and light gray.
- 5Add the umbrella handle in golden yellow and the mouths in coral pink and cherry red, leaving the car's eye whites and highlights white.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of navy blue along the lower edges of the car body for a little depth.
