Cartoon Baseball Pitcher Mid Windup on the Mound

A cartoon baseball pitcher balances on one leg at the top of a dirt mound, with his other knee lifted high and his cleated shoe pointing up near his glove side. He wears a cap with a button on top, a short-sleeved jersey, and baggy pants, and his face looks serious as he stares straight ahead. His glove hangs out behind his head, showing big stitched laces with X shapes, while his other hand stretches down and forward with the fingers spread wide. The cleats have visible laces and spikes on the soles. Kids can try a bold team color for the cap and jersey, then use tan or brown for the mound and glove. This free page also works well for talking about the steps of a pitch, like the windup, the leg lift, and the throw.
