Cartoon Boy Lunging to Hit a Tennis Ball

A cartoon boy stretches low across the page as he swings a tennis racket at a ball that is just out of reach. He has spiky hair, a headband across his forehead, and an open-mouthed smile. His collared shirt, shorts, and chunky sneakers with ankle socks are all drawn with bold outlines. One arm reaches out to the side with the fingers spread wide, and the other hand grips the racket tightly. The racket has a crisscross string pattern, and the ball has a curved seam line. This page is free to print and works well for kids who like sports. Try coloring the ball bright yellow-green, then pick a team color for the shirt and headband. It could also start a chat about how players move their feet and arms to reach a tough shot.
