Cartoon Giraffe and Lion With Animal Friends

Five groups of cartoon animals are scattered across this page. At the top, a giraffe with a long curved, patchy neck looks over its shoulder while a maned lion tumbles beside it. Two small animals hang off the giraffe's body below them. In the middle sits a round, chunky animal with its arms stretched out. On the right, a young lion-like character is wrapped up in the coils of a large spotted snake. At the bottom, a horned animal with an open mouth and a shaggy mane is mid-motion. The characters don't clearly match anyone from Wild Kratts, so they are described generically. For a coloring idea, try warm yellows and browns for the lion and giraffe, then pick a bold, different color for the snake's spots so the coils stand out. It's also a fun prompt for talking with kids about which animals live in the savanna.
