Cartoon Mouse Hugging a Bitten Cheese Wedge

A wide-eyed cartoon mouse sits upright and hugs a wedge of cheese against its belly with both hands. The cheese is covered in round and oval holes, and a small bite is missing from one edge. The mouse has big round ears, two long buck teeth, whiskers on its cheeks and a few more above its pointed nose. Its thin tail curves out to the left, with a few stripes drawn across it, and its feet stick out at the bottom. The big open spaces on the body and ears are easy for small hands to fill in. Try gray or tan for the mouse, pink for the ears and tail, and bright yellow for the cheese. Then ask kids to count the holes in the cheese as they color each one.
