Hot Dog in Sneakers Waving Hello with Mustard Zigzag

A cheerful hot dog character stands upright inside a long bun, smiling wide with big round eyes and small eyebrows. One arm waves hello with a four-fingered cartoon glove, while the other hand rests on its hip. A wavy line of mustard runs down the middle of the sausage, and two thin legs end in a pair of sneakers with laces and little eyelets. The outlines are bold and the shapes are large, so this one works well for younger kids who are still building control with crayons. Try coloring the bun a golden tan, the sausage a reddish brown, and the mustard bright yellow, then let your child pick fun colors for the sneakers and gloves. This free printable also makes a nice warm-up before a lesson on food or friendly greetings.
