This cartoon skeleton is all smiles, with its left hand raised and open in a happy wave and the other arm just hanging at its side. The big round head has wide, shiny eyes, a small triangle nose and a grin of square teeth. Further down there's a rib cage with rounded ribs, a long spine, a pelvis with two oval holes, and long leg bones that end in bare feet with separate toes. One curved line under the feet is the only ground, and nothing else is in the background. Thick outlines and big open areas make this free printable easy for younger kids, and it works well for a simple bones lesson too. - 1Fill the skull, ribcage, spine, arms, legs and feet with pale beige, leaving the eye whites, teeth and background white.
- 2Color the bones of the hands and fingers, including the raised waving hand, in the same pale beige.
- 3Fill the hip bone and the leg bones with pale beige, keeping the two oval holes in the pelvis white.
- 4Color the open mouth with coral pink so it stands out against the teeth.
- 5Optional: Add soft gray or light brown shading along the bottom edges of the bones and skull for a little depth.
