Cartoon Tarantula Sitting in a Big Round Spider Web

A fuzzy cartoon spider sits in the middle of a large round web, with wide eyes and a few little fangs showing under its face. It has a big oval body with spiky tufts of hair on top, and eight thick, jointed legs that spread out across the web strands. The web fills the whole page with straight spokes running from the center and curved lines connecting them, ending in a scalloped outer edge. Each web section is a good size, so it works well for crayons and younger kids. Try coloring the spider in browns and tans to look like a real tarantula, then use gray or light blue for the web. This free printable also gives you an easy way to talk about how many legs a spider has. Count them together as you color each one.
