Pusheen cats drift across the sky on this busy, pattern-style page, and each one holds a bunch of cat-head-shaped balloons. The balloons have little pointed ears, and their strings gather above Pusheen's paws while her striped tail dangles below. Between the floating cats are lots of rainbows resting on puffy clouds, along with small outlined clouds and five-pointed stars. A few tiny fluffy kitties are tied to balloon strings and hang there curled up. Shapes are large and lines are clean, which suits kids who like to fill in lots of small areas at their own pace. Pastel pink, lilac and mint look sweet on the balloons, with bright stripes on each rainbow and sunny yellow stars. You may want to print a few extra copies. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big cats: fill the gray cats' bodies and faces with warm gray, leaving the eye whites and little shine spots white.
- 2Color the balloon cats next: hot pink for the pink heads in the middle, butter yellow for the yellow ones on the left, and sky blue for the blue ones on the right.
- 3Fill the rainbows band by band: rose red for the outer arcs, lemon yellow and leaf green for the inner arcs, and mustard gold for the rainbow near the middle right, keeping the clouds white.
- 4Color the orange cat and the gift-wrapped cats in apricot orange, then add the balloons in sky blue, pale blue, and hot pink.
- 5Fill the small clouds and the stars' background areas with pale blue, keeping the stars and the large clouds white. Optional: add a few lighter strokes on the gray cats for a soft shadow.
