Head tipped back and mouth stretched wide, Garfield is getting ready to catch some fluffy popcorn as it tumbles down. One paw is up in the air with small motion lines beside it, like he just flicked a piece skyward. A big bowl piled with popcorn rests against his belly, and his oversized feet poke out in front. His fur has bold black stripe patches, and since there is no background, little ones can color without fuss. Buttery yellow and cream suit the popcorn, a bright red or blue the bowl, and classic orange the stripes. A nice screen-free printable for a day at home. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the blue popcorn bowl: fill the bowl's side and inside with medium blue, and use light blue for the rim along the top edge.
- 2Color the popcorn pieces in pale yellow, including the clusters in the bowl and the ones floating near Odie's chest.
- 3Fill Garfield's body, arms, feet, and toes with cream white, and color Odie's head and body the same cream white.
- 4Add the orange brown patches on the back leg and foot, and the dark brown patch on the ear at the right side.
- 5Leave the small highlights white, such as the eye shine on Odie, the spot on the hand, and the highlight on the foot.
- 6Optional: Add a little light shading on the cream areas with a slightly darker tone along the edges to make the shapes stand out.
