Celtic Cross With Knotwork Pattern and Ring

Coloring guide
A tall Celtic cross fills the page, with a large circle behind the point where the arms meet. The ring is drawn as a thick black band with a thin outline and white space inside. In the center of the cross sits a round medallion filled with a swirling knot design. The top arm and both side arms each hold a boxed panel of woven, criss-crossing bands. The long bottom arm is the biggest section, with a braided pattern that runs down its whole length and narrows slightly toward the base. Every band is outlined in black with white gaps, so little hands can follow each strand. Try coloring one ribbon at a time in a single shade so the over and under weaving stands out, then use a different color for the center medallion. It also works well as a quiet activity for Good Friday, and you can print it for free as many times as you need.
