A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling Deadpool's big red areas, including the head, arms, chest, legs and hands, with bright red, and leave the small background gap near the gun hand white.
- 2Color the brown details next: the sword handles and hip pouch in copper brown, the belt in dark brown, and the lower edge of the mask in rust brown.
- 3Use steel gray for the pistols, the upper armor and the boot tread, and charcoal gray for the shadowed armor and the gun barrel.
- 4Fill the eye mask, boot toe and the dark finger shadows with jet black, then add olive tan to the pistol grip.
- 5Finish with golden yellow on the fingertips of the gun hand. Optional: add a few darker strokes of charcoal gray for depth on the shadowed sides of the legs and armor.
