Little Chef Charmander Baking Chocolate Chip Cookies
Coloring guide
In a big puffy chef's hat, Charmander grins as it pulls a tray of fresh chocolate chip cookies out of a toaster-style oven with flames flickering inside. The flame-tipped tail curls up behind it. On the counter up front, a second baking sheet holds more cookies, along with a mixing bowl, a small bowl of dough or chips, a pile of flour and some scattered chocolate chips. A carton labeled Cookie sits on the left. Kids will like the cozy kitchen story and the mix of big and small shapes to fill in. A bright orange for Charmander and the tail flame, golden tan for the cookies and dark brown dots for the chips would work well. Print or download it for a quick coloring break anytime. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big orange areas: color Charmander's face, body, arms, legs and tail with orange, leaving the eye whites, teeth and claws white.
- 2Fill the belly, the milk carton, the cookie tray areas and the cookies with soft yellow and honey yellow, keeping the cookie highlights light.
- 3Color the oven body and its top and side panels with sky blue and light blue, then add ocean blue along the lower door and base.
- 4Use dark navy inside the oven and steel gray on the baking sheets and bowl edges, adding the orange bowl and the cream white flour and batter.
- 5Add bright yellow and fiery red to the flames on the tail and inside the oven, and use tan brown and amber for the cookie logo and label.
- 6Optional: Add a little charcoal gray or dark navy shading along the edges to make the drawing pop.
