Cheerful Fall Maple Leaf with a Little Acorn

Coloring guide
One happy maple leaf fills most of this page, with big round eyes, raised eyebrows and a wide open smile. A small acorn sits at the bottom right next to the leaf's curved stem. Pointed lobes and vein lines branching out from the center give little ones lots of sections to fill. The acorn has a scalloped cap and a tiny stem on top, a nice smaller challenge for kids who enjoy detail. Bold outlines and a plain white background make it a good fit for crayons and chunky markers. Go with autumn reds and oranges on the leaf, then golden brown on the acorn so they stay distinct. Print it free for a classroom table, a rainy day or a calm moment at home. Add this to your Fall coloring page collection, alongside Halloween and Gingerbread House.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- golden yellow
- amber orange
- chestnut brown
- coral pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the big maple leaf with golden yellow, leaving the two eye whites and the small shine spots in the eyes white.
- 2Color the round acorn nut below the cap in amber orange.
- 3Color the smiling mouth coral pink and fill the pupils with a dark shade, keeping the eye shine spots white.
- 4Color the leaf stem, the acorn cap and its scalloped rows in chestnut brown, going around the cap edges.
- 5Optional: add a little shading with a darker tone along the edges of the leaf and the acorn for depth.
