Under a blooming cherry tree, Master Splinter sits cross-legged in a simple robe, both hands resting on his wooden walking stick. He has a gentle smile beneath his long curled mustache. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color the tree trunk and its lower part brown, and fill the grass patches at the bottom and beside the turtle with lime green.
- 2Paint the mouse's robe and trousers royal blue, then add the lighter sky blue folds and the golden yellow sash around the waist.
- 3Color the mouse's fur and hands tan, with the ears, cheeks and nose in peach pink, and leave the beard and eyebrow cream.
- 4Fill the turtle's head and legs with lime green, its shell with grass green and forest green edges, and its belly with pale yellow.
- 5Add the cherry blossoms in blush pink and light pink, the bushes in leaf green, and the pond water in sky blue with light gray stones.
- 6Finish with the details: the walking stick, the tail rings, the grass blades and the floating petals. Optional: add a little darker shade under the mouse and turtle for depth. Leave the background sky and the blossom centers white.
