Child Hugging Bunny Under Bare Winter Tree

A big bare tree fills most of this winter scene, with a small bird perched on one of its right-hand branches. Underneath, a child in a tall polka dot hat with a pom-pom sits on the ground wearing a striped sweater, a long striped scarf, star-patterned pants and ice skates. The child hugs a bunny with tall ears. On the left, a pile of snowballs is stacked in a pyramid and a tiny mouse peeks over the top of one. Farther back on the right, a second small child in a pointed pom-pom hat sits on the ice with legs stretched out in skates. Little dots mark the snowy ground. Try colors for the patterns: dots on the hat, stripes on the sweater and scarf, and stars on the pants. It is also a nice chance to talk about which animals you might see outside in winter. The printable page has plenty of open space for the tree and snow.
