A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the sky and background: color the sky behind the barn and hills in light sky blue, leaving the fluffy clouds white.
- 2Color the grass and bushes next: fill the ground and small plants in lime green, with darker forest green and olive green in the bushes and trees.
- 3Fill the goats in cream, leaving their eyes white, then add golden tan to the horns, the gate, the wooden fence posts and rails.
- 4Color the barn roof in tomato red and the wooden beams and trough in wood brown, with chocolate brown inside the trough.
- 5Add the children: boy's hoodie in bright blue, girl's hoodie in rose pink, jeans in denim blue, and skin in light apricot, keeping eyes white.
- 6Optional: finish with a few tiny details like amber orange on the ponytail tie and rose peach on the goat ears for extra warmth.
